The Tarish application represents a specialized platform focused on goods transportation and delivery services within the Middle East. It distinguishes itself through a comprehensive logistics system that fully manages the receipt and delivery of orders directly within the application, streamlining the process from start to finish.

This integrated approach consolidates the efforts of merchants and drivers within a single centralized system. Merchants are able to upload and manage orders via the platform, while registered drivers receive these orders based on predefined zones, facilitating efficient distribution. This model aims to optimize the organization of transportation and delivery operations, enhancing overall efficiency.

The application functions as a communication hub between merchants and drivers, with drivers operating as independent delivery entities. Merchants can create accounts, specify product details, and input orders for delivery. Concurrently, drivers register their profiles and select specific geographical zones for their operations. When an order is placed within a driver’s designated zone, the system dispatches the delivery accordingly.

Furthermore, a zone booking feature allows drivers to select areas in which they wish to operate, enabling them to allocate resources appropriately and invest necessary capital in those zones. This targeted approach seeks to improve route planning and resource management.

Regarding payment procedures, customers are currently expected to pay in cash upon receipt of goods from the merchant. Future plans include integrating electronic payment methods such as bank card gateways and electronic wallet applications available in Iraq, aiming to facilitate smoother transactions and reduce return rates caused by cash payments.
